The Project

Sherwood Flooring approached Habit to rebuild its existing website on WordPress to better reflect the brand, improve usability, and support customer decision-making. The existing site was visually outdated, difficult to navigate, and lacked clear calls to action. Customers frequently relied on the gallery to explore flooring options, but limited product details made it harder to move from inspiration to inquiry.

The project focused on creating a modern, mobile-friendly website that was easy for customers to navigate and simple for the Sherwood Flooring team to update internally. Throughout the redesign, emphasis was placed on authenticity, highlighting the people behind the business and the values that set Sherwood Flooring apart.

The site was also designed with future growth in mind, allowing for ongoing technical support, hosting, security updates, and optional photo and video content to further enhance storytelling.

As part of the brand evolution, Sherwood Flooring’s logo received a subtle refresh to better reflect the company’s modern, customer-first approach while maintaining its trusted local roots. The update refined typography, improved balance and spacing, and strengthened overall legibility across digital applications. Rather than a dramatic redesign, the goal was thoughtful modernization, creating a mark that feels polished and professional while remaining approachable and recognizable within the Sherwood Park community. The refreshed logo now performs seamlessly across web, social, signage, and print, supporting a more cohesive and confident brand presence.
